When you think of Paris, you think of romance, berets, baguettes and the Eiffel Tower. An image strengthened by TV shows like "Emily in Paris". The audience is immersed in the experience of 24 hours of Parisian life, 100% in English - from breakfast to a wild party!
With a very French sense of humour, I explore Parisian clichés, the condition of modern women, while leaving plenty of room for interaction with the audience and current events.
JULY 2018
INTERVIEW WORLD ITINERARIES
Throughout his hour-long stand-up, Collas plays a host of colourful characters, including French president Emmanuel Macron himself - in a rather indiscreet embrace. His 'slow-motion' scene involving parents and schoolchildren is a hilarious parody of the French in everyday life.

INTERVIEW WITH VALERIE TRIBES
Poadcast
For this new episode of Chiffon, I welcome a woman with a rather original life path. Trained as a lawyer, she left this job to become an actress at the age of 39. Now on stage at the BO Saint-Martin theatre, she has chosen the myth of the Parisian woman as her theme. Her show appears to be light-hearted, but it is much deeper than it seems. Julie denounces the tyranny of women... the tyranny of thinness, of youth, of beauty.

JANUARY 2018

"Remember her name: Julie Collas as a very original Parisian!"
For an hour, Julie Collas talks about Paris in her show 100% in English.
It was ranked by the Paris Visitors Bureau in the Top 10 of the best shows to see in Paris. A sulphate attack on the glamorous image of Paris: everything from dirty pavements to the price of coffee...
JANUARY 2018
INTERVIEW WITH "THE LOCAL FRANCE":
"Myth or reality: a Parisian tells the truth about these Parisian life"
She started her career as a lawyer and spent many years working in the financial district of La Défense, a place she calls "a gulag for over-educated Parisians". But she gave up her career in 2015 to become a comedian and is now the star of her one-woman show entitled "Oh my God, she's a Parisian" in which she takes a comical look at the lifestyle of Parisians and confirms and dispels some of the myths about the most publicised inhabitants of any city in the world.

JANUARY 2018
ARTICLE IN THE SCOSTMAN
"A crazy race in Parisian life".
The show demolishes the myth of the elegant Parisian, pokes fun at political couples such as President Macron and Brigitte and Donald Trump and Melania, and immerses the audience in the psyche of rude Parisians, waiters and underground riders, childcare issues and more.

Although she is a newcomer to the comedy scene, Collas, who decided to turn her life around after the Bataclan terrorist attack in November 2015, attracts audiences from all over the world eager for a hilarious crash course in the 'real Paris'.
